The news that people are dying not only from military actions but also from hunger and thirst has shaken the minds and souls of many people around the world. This awakened in me the association of how the entire hydrosphere of the planet turns into tears, and tears are the only water. The seas, rivers, lakes, swamps, streams, underground waters disappear, the waterfalls stop, the springs dry up.

The wave of empathy that has awakened in the minds, souls and actions of many people in Bulgaria and worldwide has poured out with enormous force. Words like empathy and sympathy have returned their meaning to moral values. Seeing the world through the pain of others made people fear the threat and indignation, but also a desire to help.

I used the teardrop as a symbol and an object through which is seen differently. It is the sadness, but also the purity of the human heart. The sincerity with which the difficulties, but also the joys, are experienced.
